Welcoming parts who feel wrong or bad 26.4.2021

Facilitator: Ulla-Stina Johansson, a psychotherapist, supervisor and teacher in existential psychology and psychotherapy, focusing and meditation.

Time: 26.4.2021 17:30 – 19:90 (EET) at Zoom

To whom: The workshop is intended for focusers, so participation requires completion of at least a Focusing I level training.

In our humanity is inbuilt to make mistakes, feeling guilt and shame and not being able to meet our own or other persons requirements. Something in us could feel discomfort, wrong, not-enough or bad and the self-critic could awake inside. We have, often out of necessity, let these parts go into exile and left us with feelings of confusion, numbness and less aliveness.

How would it be in our personal life, as well as in society, if we begin to listen to and welcome the parts in us who feels wrong, not-enough or bad? If we let the body guide us to be aware of, own and include these parts we could be more healed, abundant and alive.

In relation to other persons and society, we could contribute to the realization of being interconnected while allowing us all to be differentiated. In this workshop, in a small group at zoom, we will from a safe place in presence gently explore our felt sense around parts in us who feel wrong, bad or ashamed. We will work with attunement in the whole group, focusing in break-out rooms and sharing in the whole group

Price: 40 euros
30 euros for members of the Finnish Focusing Association

Registration: at email yhdistys(at)fokusointi.fi on the 14th of April latest. The workshop is in a small group, 8 person max.
